Fact: anytime you see a photo of somebody’s father from the 1970s, they either look like Stephen King:

or Jim Henson:

Yep. My dad was Henson. And you know they all mowed the lawn in too-short shorts and tube socks. Dads in the ’70s dressed like American Apparel models in 2008.
